See UDit’s guide to printing at UD. You are able to print at several locations on campus; Roesch Library has two 3-in-1 machines that print, copy and scan.

Can I get my textbooks at Roesch Library?

Roesch Library generally does not purchase textbooks assigned to students for their classes. In some cases, faculty may have placed materials for their courses on reserve for student use. Students may be also able to find an earlier edition of a textbook or a copy of a supplemental book. Search by title in UDiscover and look for the "Reserve" icon under the title and/or the note "On Reserve: Inquire at Hello Desk" next to the book's location.

How do I reserve a space, such as a study room, in Roesch Library? How do I cancel a booking? How do I find the room I reserved?

Use libcal.udayton.edu to reserve a space in advance; you can also scan the QR code posted outside the room to check availability and reserve it on the spot.

You can cancel a study room booking from the reservation confirmation email sent to your UD email.

Refer to the library’s online floor maps or the maps posted next to each elevator to locate a room or space.

The new UDiscover launched June 25, 2025, in collaboration with the OhioLINK Library consortium. UDiscover replaces the UD Library catalog, Library Publications search (sometimes known as Journals Search), and old version of UDiscover with a more integrated system. You can get more information on the UDiscover User Guide
